About The Purpose Connection
Our Story
After opening a petting zoo that served individuals with Special Needs in Collin County Texas, we learned that there is a huge gap in services for the teens and adults that learn and do things differently. Job training, job opportunities and community connections are in short supply. We formed The Purpose Connection to help meet those needs. A 501 (c) (3) organization since 2017, we proudly ran our program, The Collin County Critter Cafe until Covid. We are still around with small programs. We still plan to open a center in a few years that will help meet some of the needs of individuals with developmental and mental health struggles.

Our team is comprised of special educators, parents, and therapists who work to provide our clients with comprehensive solutions that meet their unique needs.

At The Purpose Connection, we believe that if we help our clients learn their strengths and provide them with tools and tricks to overcome their struggles, they will be more successful in their community. We work closely with our clients and their families to understand their challenges and goals, and develop solutions that are tailored to their unique needs. .
